Pyracantha ‘Mohave Red’ is a superb evergreen shrub, supplied as an impressive XL approximately 4–5ft tall established plant. At this substantial size, it provides immediate height, structure and coverage, making it an excellent choice for instant gardening, security planting and faster screening.
‘Mohave Red’ produces dense masses of glossy dark green evergreen foliage, complemented by clusters of small white flowers during late spring and early summer. These are followed by spectacular displays of bright red berries, bringing vibrant colour to the garden through autumn and into winter.
Naturally dense, vigorous and thorny, Pyracantha is one of the best plants for creating an attractive yet defensive garden boundary. At approximately 4–5ft tall when supplied, these XL plants are ideal for security hedging, privacy screening, boundaries, training against walls and covering fences.
