Crataegus ‘Rosea Flore Pleno’ is a beautiful ornamental flowering Hawthorn tree, supplied as an impressive XL approximately 6ft tall established tree in a substantial 7.5 litre pot. At this excellent size, it provides immediate height, structure and presence, making it a superb choice for instant gardening and creating a mature garden effect.
This traditional Hawthorn is particularly prized for its spectacular clusters of double rose-pink flowers, which cover the branches during late spring. The densely petalled blossom creates a wonderful display of colour and gives this variety a softer, more ornamental appearance than the familiar native Hawthorn.
Attractive lobed green foliage develops into a leafy canopy throughout the growing season, while its naturally branching habit provides excellent garden structure. Hardy and reliable, ‘Rosea Flore Pleno’ combines the toughness of Hawthorn with the beauty of a classic ornamental flowering tree.
At approximately 6ft tall when supplied, these established nursery trees provide considerably more immediate impact than smaller young trees. They are ideal as a feature tree for lawns, borders, front gardens, cottage gardens and traditional planting schemes.
