Our Dwarf Patio Stella Cherry Fruit Tree (Prunus avium ‘Stella’) is a beautiful, compact fruiting tree, specially grown for patios, terraces, courtyards and smaller gardens. Supplied as an established 3–4ft tall miniature tree in a substantial 5 litre nursery pot, this popular sweet Cherry variety offers the opportunity to enjoy delicious home-grown cherries without needing a large garden or traditional orchard.
These specially trained miniature patio specimens feature a clear stem of approximately 2ft tall, topped with an attractive branching fruiting head. Their elegant miniature tree shape makes them particularly suitable for large decorative patio containers, bringing immediate height, structure and traditional orchard charm to smaller outdoor spaces.
Cherry ‘Stella’ is one of Britain's most popular sweet cherry varieties, admired for its beautiful white spring blossom, followed by delicious large, glossy, deep red cherries during summer. The fruits have a wonderfully sweet, juicy flavour and firm flesh, making them perfect for eating freshly picked from the tree, as well as enjoying in desserts, fruit salads and homemade preserves.
One of the outstanding benefits of Stella Cherry is that it is self-fertile, meaning a second cherry tree is not required for pollination. This makes it particularly suitable for smaller gardens and patios where space for additional fruit trees may be limited. Stella is also valued as a reliable cropping variety in suitable growing conditions.
With its manageable miniature patio form, this established Stella Cherry is ideal for large decorative containers, sunny patios, sheltered courtyards and smaller garden borders. Combining beautiful spring blossom, attractive green summer foliage and delicious home-grown fruit, it makes a wonderful addition to any garden where space is limited.
