Apple Tree
(M26 Rootstock – Dwarfing, approx. 8–10ft / 2.5–3m at maturity)

  • Perfect for smaller gardens, patio containers, and allotments
The M26 rootstock offers a compact, space-saving form without sacrificing fruit size or productivity. Easier to manage, prune, and harvest — ideal where space is limited but yield still matters.

Bramley’s Seedling – A classic British culinary apple, producing large, green fruits with a sharp, robust flavour. The apples break down beautifully when cooked, making them ideal for pies, sauces, crumbles, and preserves. Heavy cropping and long-lived, Bramley is the go-to choice for serious cooks and traditional growers alike.

Planting & Care Guide (Bare Root Trees):

Our trees are delivered root-wrapped in moist compost, ensuring they arrive nursery-fresh. This means you don’t need to plant immediately — they’ll stay fresh for several days or even several weeks, giving you time to plant at your convenience.

  • Soak roots (still wrapped or unwrapped) in a bucket of water for 1–2 hours before planting to hydrate.

  • Dig a hole large enough to spread the roots comfortably, and position the tree so the graft union sits just above soil level.

  • Backfill with soil, firm in gently, and water thoroughly.

  • Stake if required, especially in exposed areas.

  • Mulch around the base (avoiding the trunk) to retain moisture and suppress weeds.

  • Keep well-watered through the first growing season. Prune lightly in winter to shape and encourage strong growth.

With proper care, your Bramley’s Seedling apple tree on M26 rootstock will reward you with abundant, flavour-rich harvests — even in the smallest of gardens.
